Laurence H. Baer – Chairman of the Board A business and not-for-profit executive with more than 35 years of management experience, Laurence Baer has extensive experience and a network spanning a broad range of industries and concerns. Laurence currently serves as co-founder and Managing Director of World Development and Trade Group () an international consultancy involved in trade, business development, economic development, and project management.
David Dawes, CEO. David is CEO of GSR, Inc. He has over 25 years experience working in community empowerment and building distribution networks internationally. He has been instrumental in developing systems for community kitchens, community clinics, hunger free zones, and malaria free zones throughout Africa.
Christopher Danch, Esq., Chief Legal Officer. Christopher has over 30 years of legal experience including the areas of strategic legal planning and consultation, business (litigation, transactional, reorganization, and organizational development), nonprofit organizations, environmental and natural resource management, international law, construction and real estate. He has wide-ranging involvement in the nonprofit world in addition to legal representation, where he has served on numerous boards, and has co-founded and directed three nonprofits dedicated to youth, environmental education, and resource conservation.
Akshar Choudree. Gemmologist Akshar Choudree is a Board Member and Director of Green Self Reliance, Inc. He is responsible for liaison with Private Sector Partners in Green Self Reliance's India Projects and Programs. His business experience and expertise formed the basis for creating a symbiotic model for a self-sustaining eco-friendly venture.
Dr. Duncan Earle. is an anthropologist with a quarter-century of experience in the area of international development, as both a scholar and an active professional. He has engaged community development, disaster assistance, social equity and environmental concerns as they emerge from grassroots and community movements, both in various parts of Latin America and on the US-Mexico border. He has taught at numerous universities, including Dartmouth, University of Maryland, University of Texas, Clark, and American University..
Maxine Gordon has lived and worked in more than 25 African countries focusing on the fields of Business Development and Government Relations. She has published investment surveys on emerging African countries for The International Herald Tribune, The New York Times, USA Today and Institutional Investor magazine. Ms. Gordon consults for both American and European corporations to develop their businesses on the African continent; working at Presidential, Ministerial and C- Executive levels. She is passionate about the continent of Africa and will be responsible for project management for GSR’s rural development projects
Chris Kumiega has over the past 25+ years been involved in business strategy, development and international trade for US based and international clients with extensive work in emerging economies. Kumiega has served as director and executive-level advisor to numerous private and public companies. He lives in West Africa traveling between Mali, Senegal, Sierra Leone and The Gambia securing contracts within the infrastructure sector, raw materials and precious metals
